It is a very easy mechanism to switch between studs and dangle drops. Wear the butterflies on the back when you only want studs, and transform them into dangles edgy and elegant drop earrings by simply adding the drop backs.
OPTION 1 - STUDS
Small and cute geometric sterling silver studs in the shape of pentagons. Edgy and minimal, these modern earrings are perfect for everyday style, even for the office outfit.They are made out of sterling silver and come in two different finishes: oxidised silver and polished silver.

OPTION 2 - DANGLES
You can transform the Vertigo mini studs in a click just by using the dangling backs. These are large butterfly backs with an extension of chain and crystal drops. When using these backs your studs will transform into a precious and elegant statement.
These drop dangling earrings are particularly flattering for oval, round, square or heart face shapes.
THE STONES
These artisanal drop earrings feature an exclusive pair of polished drop cut Amethyst in a deep dark purple. These stones are graded quality AAA and have a uniquely intense colour.
Amethyst is believed to be a protective stone, calming the mind and spirit. It enhances spirituality and intuition. Ancient Romans used amethyst crystals to fight hangovers and the negative effects of alcohol consumption.
Amethyst was used in the Kabbalah as a base stone on which to write the name of God.
A mythical legend tells the story of Amethyst, a nymph of the woods, for which Bacchus, the god of wine, had a crash. The girl, in order to escape the disgusting courtship, turned to Diana, which transformed her into a clear crystal. Fluttered, Bacchus poured his cup full of wine over it, giving it a delicate violet colour, along with the power to protect him from the inebriating effects of the drink.
POLISHED SILVER:
These earrings are made of special tarnish-resistant Sterling Silver. This special Silver will not blacken as easily as the normal sterling silver. They are polished by hand to a mirror finish.
These earrings are made by 3D printing a wax model that is then cast in silver through a process called lost wax casting. Every piece is then finished and polished by hand.
Each set of earrings comes in its own Varily fabric pouch placed in our fully recyclable, presentation box, inspired by geometric shapes. We also include an explanatory card for you to explore the meaning and psychology of the colour of your choice.
All of our packaging is fully recyclable and made of FSC paper whenever possible.

After an initial hand sketch, every nylon piece is modelled on a 3D software, 3D printed through laser technology (laser sintering), dyed individually by hand and finished with a waterproof and UV proof sealant.Slight difference in the colour or surface (including step lines) are not to consider defects, indeed a genuine sign of the unique handmade process.
Care & Tips Just like you polish your silver jewellery, sometimes you may need to refresh your nylon accessory.
