This statement floral themed necklace is realized through the use of wax carving and rapid prototyping. The branch is made of oxidised sterling silver and the flowers are 3D printed hand dyed nylon. The vibrant gradient of pink and orange in the flowers contrast with the black silver, giving this piece a dramatic twist.
This necklace is inspired by flower pods and their specific function that is interrupted permanently if opened before time. As a curious child would squeeze the blossoms, the nylon flowers are slightly open to showcase the hidden features inside.

After an initial hand sketch, every nylon piece is modelled on a 3D software, 3D printed through laser technology (laser sintering), dyed individually by hand and finished with a waterproof and UV proof sealant.Slight difference in the colour or surface (including step lines) are not to consider defects, indeed a genuine sign of the unique handmade process.
Care & Tips Just like you polish your silver jewellery, sometimes you may need to refresh your nylon accessory.

- SOAK in warm soapy water for 1 minute (if needed)
